Mapping a subnet to an appliance

Once the subnets have been imported they will need to be mapped to a sweep scanning appliance and a deep scanning appliance.

To add a sweep scan mapping

1. Navigate to Modules → uManage → Discovery Management → Mappings
2. Click on the "add" button
3. Give the mapping a name and description and select Scan Type of "Sweep Scan"

4. You will now be able to select a sweep scanning appliance and the subnet

   

5. Click Create

To add a deep scan mapping

1. Navigate to Modules → uManage → Discovery Management → Mappings
2. Click on the "add" button
3. Give the mapping a name and description and select Scan Type of "Deep Scan"

4. You will now be able to select a deep scanning appliance and the subnet

   

5. Click Create
