Appliance Management
This section covers how to manage integrated BMC Discovery appliance with uManage → Appliance Management.
Real Time Status
The uManage appliance management screen shows real time status of each integrated BMC Discovery appliance.
Appliance Status
The appliance status tell you if the appliance is available on the network via the configured IP Address
Service Status
The service status is monitoring the BMC Discovery services as reported by the CLI.
Disk Space
The Disk space is monitored for all mounted filesystem on the appliance. If this reaches above 80% utilised it will alert.
Discovery Running
The Discovery Running will monitor for in progress discovery runs on the appliance.
Discovery Status
The Discovery Status will tell you if discovery is in a started / stopped mode.
Baseline status
The Baseline status will report on any failures to the appliance baseline.
uManage Actions
For all configured BMC Discovery appliance there are many actions that can be scheduled or run instantly. There are different function available depending on the appliance selected. If selecting a cluster and showing members, the list of available actions will change.
