Maintenance Mode

This action will allow you to stop or start maintenance mode on the BMC Discovery appliances.

Starting or stopping Maintenance mode

  1. Select the appliance / cluster from the appliance management page that you would like to schedule the deployment for.
  2. Drop down the Actions menu and select "Maintenance Mode"
  3. Select either start or stop.
  4. Enter in a schedule, time and date and click "Create"

The scheduled task will appear in the activity log with a status of no started. Once the schedule has completed be sure to check back and view any error that were reported.

If you would like to run the job instantly, select "Run Now" from the schedule dropdown. Once you select "Create" the job will appear in the activity log and shortly move to "In progress".
