Create a report

Create a report

Reports can only be setup with users with Admin privileges. If you would like a report to be configured for you you'll need to contact you system administrator.

Running multiple complex queries against BMC Discovery appliance will affect performance of the appliance. Be sure to make the query as efficient as possible. 

Define the report

To create a report under uReport to run against BMC Discovery :

  1. Navigate to Modules → uReport → BMC Discovery Reporting
  2. Click the "Add" icon on the table
  3. Enter a name and description
  4. Toggle the "Is Active" checkbox
  5. Enter the BMC query. 

Target BMC Discovery Appliances

You are able to run the query against one or many BMC Discovery appliances and will consolidate the returned results into a single CSV file.

Select one or more appliance from the list and click the "Add" arrow.
