Adding CI's to components for TrueSight Modelling

You can add CI’s to TrueSight components from the uMap modelling screens. Adding components is available from the following screens within uMap :

• Running Software (All sub tabs)

• Infrastructure (Filesystem)

• Installed Software (All sub tabs)

• Processes

Adding a linked CI to a component

Open a uMap model from the Modules → uMap → My Applications screen.

1. Navigate to one of the screens listed above.

2. Scroll down to the “Linked” table

3. Select a linked CI and select the actions menu → “Configure Component

4. Select a component from the dropdown list and select “Set”

5. Continue to do this for all linked CI’s in the above pages of the uMap modelling process.
