Modelling an application within uControl requires the selection of the CI components that belong to the application.

Vendor software that is used to run the applications. This could be Apache, MQ, Websphere instances.

Database Details includes internal configurations, schemas and tables that are within databases

Database are the database instances that support the applciation

Infrastructure

Load Balancer

Filesystem

Load Balancer Instance that are used to support the application. Linking these will auto link any Servers and Running Software that are used as part of the load balancer service that supports the application

Installed Software

Package

Service

Packages and Services that are installed on the servers support the application. These are useful when modelling applications or components of an application that are not alway running / in use.

Process

Processes

Processes running on the servers supporting the application that is bespoke to the environment.

Applications

Used to highlight application to application dependencies that exist.
