CI components For Application Modelling

Modelling an application within uControl requires the selection of the CI components that belong to the application.
The CI's available to select are as follows:
CI Type | CI Components | Additional Information |

Servers | Host Mainframe Partition Cluster | Windows, Unix, AIX, MFParts and clusters of these that host the application |
Running Software | Software Instance Software Component Database Detail Database | Vendor software that is used to run the applications. This could be Apache, MQ, Websphere instances. Database Details includes internal configurations, schemas and tables that are within databases Database are the database instances that support the applciation |
Infrastructure | Load Balancer Filesystem | Load Balancer Instance that are used to support the application. Linking these will auto link any Servers and Running Software that are used as part of the load balancer service that supports the application |
Installed Software | Package Service | Packages and Services that are installed on the servers support the application. These are useful when modelling applications or components of an application that are not alway running / in use. |
Process | Processes | Processes running on the servers supporting the application that is bespoke to the environment. |
Dependencies | Applications | Used to highlight application to application dependencies that exist. |
