To configure a Service Desk an authenticate connection to Service Now or Atlassian Jira is required. See the following section on how to set these up:

Atlassian JIRA

To configure the mappings of uControl issues to the Service Desk issues:

  1. Navigate to Administration → Integration → ServiceDesk → Mapping

  2. Select the Service Desk configuration from the top dropdown

  3. Under Service Desk Mapping click Add

  4. Select the Area (uAsset, uMap or uManage)

  5. Select the Issue Type from uControl and the service Desk Issue type

  6. Configure the Short Description and Description fields and select ‘Create’
