Users

The uControl administrator is responsible for setting up user access to the system. User account that are created are given a username, password and email address (for system notifications). For each user account that is setup specific permissions are given to perform different tasks within the system. Eg. A user is setup with User access can look at the imported data within the system. A user with Discovery Management can look at data in the system and the health of the discovery sources.

Users account can be setup locally on the system or uControl can integrate with SAML SSO and LDAP. See details here.
