New in 7.2.0

TekWurx uControl Service Now integration

TekWurx uControl 7.2.0 now provides the ability to integrate to one or more Service Now CMDB instances to keep data syncronized between BMC Discovery and CMDB. Each connection to Service Now can be configured with it’s own deletion method if required and will handle the lifecycle of data discovered from BMC Discovery in the Service Now CMDB.

Production, Development, Test instances

So, you want to change something in test, view the results in the CMDB and promote to Production?

Each connection between TekWurx uControl to a Service Now CMDB can be configured independently allowing you to setup specific attribute mappings, relationships and class mappings per instance.

Don’t want all the data in all instances?

Each connection can be configured to send data instantly or via manual intervention.

Take a look at the documentation here.

Application drift for uMap Processes

TekWurx uControl 7.2.0 now provides smart alerting around the drift of Discovered Processes linked to application models in uMap. Much like we have for linked Software, Filesystems and Services we now alert once a discovered processes is marked as deleted for an application. However, to save time for the application owners TekWurx uControl will attempt to provide alternative processes to link in the uAlert and allow the owner to quickly resolve the drift - not having to reopen the application.
