uMap TrueSight Operations Management ready Modelling

TrueSight Operations Management is a turnkey solution that provides a comprehensive view of how key services are performing, so IT knows immediately if customer experiences may be impacted. The ability in TekWurx uControl to model applications has been a core part of our product from day 1. Now, with the ability for anyone to build a TrueSight friendly application model in minutes from Tekwurx uControl we have taken things to another level.

Providing as much information as possible to IT teams when dealing with application issues is key for a fast resolution. The TekWurx uControl uMap TrueSight ready modelling allows the end user to configure which CI’s make up which components of the application, all in a simple and friendly User Interface.

When we publish these models to BMC Discovery we create a component and link all realted CI’s based on the users selection within uMap:

Adding this layer into the application modes allow IT teams to easily see which applications are having issues, which environment it affects and which group of components that have the issue - directing this to the correct support team is much faster with quicker resolution times.


uManage Data Quality Charts

Understanding your data is important but it can be hard to spot issues over time. Management teams are focused on total numbers, configuration managemnt teams are interested in total numbers and the quality of that data.

With uManage we are now supplying charts to cover BMC CI total count over time, completeness information for Host attributes, correctness indicators for Host attributes, identification ability for duplicate hosts based on attribute values and providing a clear understanding of IP scanning completeness.

Service Desk Integration Enhancements

We have expanded the ability to create service desk tickets for all events in the uControl system. This now covers uAsset alerts, uMap alerts and uManage alerts.

 

Easy to use user interface to setup a mapping of the uControl event to a service desk issue type, customise the issue title and description and insert variables based on the alert type all from one screen.

 

These enhancement are availabel with both the ServiceNow service desk and Atlassian Jira integrations from TekWurx uControl.


Synchronization now supports CSV and JDBC datasources

We have extended the sync ability to allow you to select an active CSV or JDBC connection as a data source for a ServiceNow Sync. Existing connection will be updated with the correct data source, but will enable you too add other sources for that connection.

 


uAsset Contract Management

Link assets to contracts, contract to Vendors and understand who support which assets. Get reminders of when contract are due to expire by configuring email reminders. Get alerts when assets within contracts are deleted.
